#1 Ventura County LGBT Resource
Diversity Collective is a community-based 501(c)3 nonprofit governed by a volunteer board of directors and volunteer advisory board. It is our mission to promote advocacy, education, mental and physical health for the LGBTQ community and those affected by HIV and AIDS in Ventura County, California. We do this work via our community resource center, programs, and community-building events.
We are the proud parent organization of the Rainbow Umbrella Program that focuses on youth 13 to 23, the DCVC HIV and AIDS Education and Prevention Program, Ventura County Pride, AIDS Walk Ventura, the Diversity Gala, Pride Prom Ventura, and many other events and activities weekly, monthly and yearly. All proceeds raised through our fundraising efforts go to fund our community resource center, programs, and events.
